Treatment:

1. Planning

We invite you to our reception in Stockholm for a survey where we assess bone quantity and bone quality. Sometimes special X-rays are needed, such as panoramic X-rays and tomography. These state-of-the-art equipment are at reception in Stockholm.

2. Operation

The implant screw is operated into the jawbone by our specialist in maxillofacial surgery under normal dental anaesthesia, after which it is allowed to heal. During the healing time, you use your usual prosthesis that we adjust or a temporary crown.

3. Imprint

After 6-12 weeks, you will pay a return visit to the reception, where we take impressions of the screws and send them to the dental technician.

4. Finished construction

When the work has returned from the dental technician, the new teeth are put in place and you can enjoy your new smile.

Dental implants – Care

You take care of your new teeth in the same way as your own teeth – with toothbrushing and flossing, toothpicks, or gap brushes.

Smoking worsens the prognosis for dental implant treatment.
